Favoured winemaker of Audrey Hepburn, Château de l’Aumérade is a 400-year-old estate in the heart of Provence. Originally belonging to the Aumérat family, the property dates back to the Renaissance period, providing wine for France’s Royal Court. In 1930, a young Henri Fabre and his wife Charlotte fell in love with the Château de l’Aumérade and purchased it from the Aumérat family, and have been carefully guiding the estate ever since.
Tasting Note:
Pale salmon in colour, this is the quintessential Provence rosé with a refreshingly fruity aroma leading to delicate cranberry and mineral flavours and an exceptionally elegant finish.
